IBPS 4th Common Written Exam For Clerical Posts 2014

IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorised by the IBA and has received mandates from 19 Public Sector Banks (and from any other Bank/ Financial Institution) to conduct CWE 2014 common written exam 2014 for Clerical Cadre posts.More details are given below.

IVth (4th) Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the IBPS as a per-requisites for selection of personnel for Clerks posts in the following 19 Public Sector Banks and in any other Bank/ Financial Institution.

IBPS Vacancy Details:

Name of the Post: Clerical Cadre (CWE Clerks -IV)

Age limit: Candidates minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum age limit is 28 years as on 01-08-2014, i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1986 and not later than 01-08-1994 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should possess Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination and Common Interview. Candidates who are shortlisted in the examination (CWE) will be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by Participating Organizations and co-ordinated by the Nodal Bank with the help of IBPS.

Application Fee: Candidate must pay application fee/ intimation charges of Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD category and Rs.600/- for all others through online or offline mode. Bank Transaction charges for Offline/ Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

Online Mode: After submission of online application form, candidates can make payment through payment gateway by using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking from 12-08-2014 to 01-09-2014. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Take print of e-receipt for future use.

Offline Mode: Candidates can deposit the fee (offline) by using system generated fee payment challan at CBS branches of any of 7 Public Sector Banks mentioned in the notification from 14-08-2014 to 03-09-2014. Fee payment Challan can be downloaded after submission of online application form.


How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through IBPS’s website www.ibps.in from 12-08-2014 to 01-09-2014. After submission of online application form, candidates are required to take print out of it for future purpose. System generated printout of the online application form, original and self attested photocopies of all relevant documents must be produced at the time of interview.

1. Before apply online candidate have to scan their photograph and signature and must have a valid email ID.
2. Log on to website www.ibps.in and click on the home page to open link “CWE Clerks” and then click on option “Click here to Apply Online for CWE-Clerks (CWE-Clerks-IV)” to open the online application form.
3. Click on “Click here for New Registration” and fill the details in the online application form at the appropriate places and upload photograph and signature.
7. After filling all the details submit the application form. A registration number and password will be generated, candidate should note down the registration number and password for future reference.
8.Make payment by using online/ offline modes and update payment details by revisiting the website.
9.Take print out of system generated e-receipt (if online payment made) and online Application Form for future purpose.

IBPS PO/MT IV Exam 2014 Recruitment Apply Online

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will hold online examination for Fourth Common Recruitment Process of CWE PO/MT-IV (October / November 2014) for selection of Probationary Officers / Management Trainees in various Government Sector Banks and Organizations. Graduate Indian National candidates Apply Online - The Registration start from 22nd July 2014 to 11th August 2014.

(a) Penalty for Wrong Answers -> There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
 
(b) Exam Centre -> The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India.
(c) Scores -> The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equipercentile method.
(d) Cutoff Score -> Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cutoffs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.
(d) Interview -> Candidates who have been shortlisted in the examination for CWE PO/MT-IV will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue.
e, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from authorised IBPS website. Please note that any request regarding change in date, centre etc. of interview will not be entertained. However the conducting agencies reserve the right
to change the date/ venue/ time/ centre etc. of interview or hold supplementary process for particular date / session / venue / centre / set of candidates at its discretion, under unforeseen circumstances, if any.The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in CWE PO/MT-IV and Interview.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates; Rs.600 /- for all others. Candidates have the option of making the payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges either through the ONLINE mode or the OFFLINE mode.

IBPS RRB OFFICERS SCALE I,II & III ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

IBPS RRB Officers Scale I,II & III Eligibility Criteria: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducting Common Written Test (CWE) for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). Candidates to gain eligibility to appear for IBPS CWE must satisfy the below given eligibility criteria to apply for Officer vacancies…

1. Nationality: A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

2. Age Limit (As on 01-06-2014):


For Officer Scale- III: Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03-06-1974 and later than 31-05-1993 (both dates inclusive).

For Officer Scale- II: Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03-06-1982 and later than 31-05-1993 (both dates inclusive).

For Officer Scale I: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and must have proficiency in local language and Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy

B.For Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.

Experience: Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

C. For Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer):

(i). Information Technology Officer: Degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
Experience: One year.

(ii). Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) Institute of Chartered Accountants from of India.
Experience: One year.

(iii). Law Officer: Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Experience: Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than two years.

(iv). Treasury Manager: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.
Experience: One year.

(v). Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.
Experience: One year.

(vi). Agricultural Officer: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Experience: Two years.

D. For Officer Scale III: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.

Note: All educational qualifications should be from a recognised university/ Board.


Language Proficiency - The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants –(Multipurpose) in any particular RRB or RRBs are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the State / UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview, as per the notification of the concerned RRB (The condition does not apply for the posts of Officer Scale II and III). For ensuring proficiency in local language, the candidate should have –
a. Local language at 10thStd level
OR
b. Native language at 10thStd level
OR
c. Local language at any level upto graduation level.

1. There will be common paper for both Generalist and Specialist cadre for the Post of Officer Scale-I
2.(a) Group I: For States categorised as “A” and “B” under Official Languages Act , candidate may answer questions either from English language test or Hindi language test.
(b) Group II: For States categorised as “C’’ under Official Languages Act, candidate to appear for English language test.

6. Score card will be valid for one year from the date of issuing it.
7. CWE would be conducted at many centres as given in the notification.
8. Pre examination training will be provided for limited number of candidates for which online application has to be made.

9. Final selection would be based on RRBs’ own Selection Process i.e., Interview etc.
