Gujarat Government launched a notification to conduct the teacher eligibility exam for the year 2013. The candidates who cleared this exam are eligible to apply for the recruitment of teachers in various Schools under education board of Gujarat. Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) 2013 is only for the subject of Library and Information Science.
Further Details about Gujarat SET is as follow:
Age Bond: The applicants don’t have any upper age limit to apply for Lectureship.
Education: Candidates should have a Master degree with at least 55% marks (General / OBC) (without rounding off) OR ant other equivalent examination from any well recognized universities/institutions in the subject of Library and Information Science and P.G. degree.
Fee for Applying: Applicants need to pay Rs. 800 if belonging to General / Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-creamy layer) Candidates) and Rs. 700/- for SC / ST / PH / VH categories Candidates .
Process for Applying: The desirable candidates have to apply online through the website http://www.gujaratset.ac.in by filling all the necessary details.
