As we all know that UPSC is stands for Union Public Service Commission. UPSC is a department under Government of India which conducts many Entrance Examination for the recruitment of various posts under various Department in Government of India.
UPSC recently has launch a new notification in which they are inviting all Indian candidates for the upcoming most awaited Examination which is IFS exam 2014. From this year onwards the pattern of the IFS (Indian Forest Service) Exam has been changed and candidates for IFS Examination 2014 needs to appear in the Indian Civil Service Examination (Preliminary) 2014 for the same. This means that the candidates have to apply for the Indian Civil Service Examination to apply for IFS Exam 2014. More detail is given below:
Name of Examination:IFS Exam / Indian Civil Service Exam 2014
Age Bond: Age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 32 years on 01-08-2014.
Education: Any Indian applicants with a Graduation’s degree from a well-recognised university with at least one subjects in the degree: Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering for Indian Forest Service Examination 2104.
For Indian Civil Service Examination any Graduate can apply.
Fee: The Female/SC/ST/PH candidates need not to pay any fee. While other have to pay a fee of Rs.100/-.
