 Indian Army has notified advertisement for recruitment of 195 Havildar (Education Science & Arts) vacancies in the Army Educational Corps in Group ‘X’ and ‘Y’. Eligible Candidates may send their applications on or before the last date i.e 10-08-2014.

• (a) Science Stream : 97 Posts
• (b) Arts Stream : 98 Posts

Age Limit :

• Candidates age limit is 20 years to 25 years for Civilian candidates and 28 years for remustered candidates as on first day of Recruitment Rally.

Qualification :

• Science stream : the candidate should have done MSc/ BSc/ MCA/ BCA/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (IT) with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Electronics or Computer Science.
• Arts stream : The candidates should have completed MA/ BA with English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics or Sociology.

Pay scale :

• Group ‘X’ : B-1 (Rs 5,200-20,200) + Grade Pay of Rs 2,800 + Military Service of Rs 2,000 + Group x pay 1,400 per month
• Group ‘Y’ : B-1 (5,200-20,200) + Grade Pay of Rs 2,800 + Military Service of Rs 2,000 per month

Selection Process :

• Candidates will be selected based on performance in Screening, Physical Fitness Test, Medical Standards, Written Examination, Teaching Aptitude Test/ Interview.

• Date of Written Examination : 26-10-2014.
• Venue : HQ Recruiting Zone/ IRO Delhi Cantt.
• Venue for Teaching Aptitude Test/ Interview : AEC Training College & Centre Pachmarhi (M.P).
