OFB 1572 Chargeman Vacancies – Graduation pass

Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) is inviting applications for filling up 1572 vacant positions of Chargeman in various trades. Interested candidates may submit their applications  on or before the last date i.e 09-08-2014. Online registration will start from 19 July 2014.

1. Chargeman (Mechanical) – 876 posts
Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Mechanical engineering
2. Chargeman (Information Technology) – 23 posts
Qualification : “A” level competency certificate in Computer Science or equivalent
3. Chargeman (Electrical) – 133 posts
Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Electrical engineering
4. Chargeman (Chemical) – 296 posts
Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Chemical engineering or B.Sc degree with General Chemistry
5. Chargeman (Civil) – 39 posts
Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering
6. Chargeman (Metallurgy) – 46 posts
Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Chemical engineering or B.Sc degree with General Chemistry

Age Limit (as on 09-Aug-2014) : All applicants should have age more than 18 years on or before closing date of online applications. The upper age limit is given below for various categories;
• General candidates – 27 years
• OBC candidates – 30 years
• SC/ST candidates – 32 years
• Physically Handicapped candidates – 37 years

Pay and Perks :

• Successful candidates shall be appointed in pay band of Rs 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs 4200/-

How to Apply :

Manual/offline applications will not be entertained. For a Successful submission of application, candidates will need to apply online first through the website www.ofb.gov.in. Applicants will also need to upload their photograph and signature in .jpeg format in online application form. After providing all necessary information and submitting online application, applicants should print out a hard copy of application and send it to the address provided thereof.
