Process for Selection: There are two phases for the selection of the candidates.
1.      The Online Objective Test
2.      Personal Interview.

First Pahse: The Online Exam Pattern is as follow:
Max Marks–200       |    Time Duration: 2 Hours 15 min.

Note: The negative marking took place in this online Exam. The 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Second Phase: The applicants who qualified in the online Exam, which means those who cleared the First Phase will be called for Personal Interview Round.

The detailed syllabus of SBI CLERK ONLINE EXAM 2014
Detailed Syllabus for First Phase
1). General Awareness: This section will contain the questions from various topics such as: Banking Awareness, Current Affairs which include the (National Current affairs, International Current affairs, Sports Current affairs, Business Current affairs, Awards Current affairs and etc.)

2). General English: This section will contain the questions from General English from the following Topics: Reading Comprehension, Common Errors, Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks, Cloze Test, Sentence Rearrangement etc.

3). Reasoning Ability: In this section the questions will be asked from the reasoning ability from various topics such as: Coding & Decoding, Blood Relation, Alphabet Series, Syllogism, Seating Arrangement + Tabulation, Alphanumeric Series, Data Sufficiency, Inequality, Input & Output .

4). Quantitative Aptitude (Maths Problem): Various Problems related to the Mathematics will be asked in the section. The questions may be asked from the following topics: Simplification, Number System, Number Series, Percentage, Profit Loss, Average, Ratio & Proportion, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Simple & Compound Interest, DI.

5). Marketing Aptitude + Computer Knowledge: This section contain the basic questions from Marketing Section as well as from Computer section.
In marketing section, you should have the good and basic knowledge related to the Marketing. Various Fundamental & Basic concept related to the Marketing.
In the Computer Section you should have the basic knowledge of Computer including the following things: What are computer, Working of Computer, Parts of Computer, History of Computer. Some questions can be asked from the basic software in computer such as MS Word, Excel and Power Point chapters.



Note: All the Information which we share above is totally based on the SBI Clerk Exam held in 2012. The pattern of the Exam will be the same as the previous year the only difference is that SBI is going to conduct this clerk Exam online First time.
