CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Candidates should possess An Associate of Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or other related technical fields; or equivalent experience is required.
- Course work in the education field, or related work experience developing instructional materials is preferred.
- Prior field service or technical writing experience is required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal communication and interviewing skills.
- Good technical understanding of NetApp hardware and software products.
- Basic understanding of related technologies.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficient in at least one graphics program.
- Follow standard development processes and NetApp U procedures.
- Follow the corporate style guide, Technical Publishing Guide, Chicago Manual of Style and department format guidelines.
- Develop technical part replacement documentation for new and current products or update existing documents or learning objects and present for review.
- Manage incoming tickets on reports of technical issues on action plans or training.
- Work collaboratively with others and in a team environment
- Develop or enhance technical content as required to maintain product accuracy, to cover product anomalies and exceptions. Initiate and engage in technical reviews.
- Build and Maintain technical proficiency on NetApp hardware products.
- Design or create new training strategies that meet the changing service engineer requirements.
- Work as part of a team on larger projects, or complex deliverables
