Education Department Chandigarh Recruitment of Junior Basic Teachers (JBT) and Nursery Teachers Vacancy Notification Online application form 2014.

Education Department Chandigarh Administration invites applications from eligible candidates to fill up following posts.

Name of the Vacancy:

1. Junior Basic Teacher (JBT): 489 Posts

2. Nursery Teacher: 103 Posts

Total: 592 Posts

Educational Qualification: 

For the Post of JBT:

-Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University with 40% marks in aggregate and atleast 50% at 10+2 level.

-Diploma in Basic Teacher Training recognized by NCTE of not less than 2 years duration with atleast 50%.

Note: Pass in National Eligibility Test (NET) Conducted by CBSE for Class from I to IV. 

For the Post of Nursersy Teacher:

-10+2, Diploma or Certificate in NTT or its equivalent from Institute recognized by NCTE of not less than 2 years duration with atleast 50%.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2014): 21-30 years for JBT. 18-27 for Nursery Teachers.

Application Fee: Rs. 500/-

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done through test.
